Le Rose Bride - Evelina

What is your name?

Evelina Medvedovskaya

Wedding Date and location?

Sorrento, Italy on June 8, 2019

How did he propose?

We love travelling the world and we planned to take a weekend trip to San Francisco. The day that we arrived, he took me to a scenic spot overseeing the golden gate bridge. It was a beautiful view and the clearest day. He asked me to go to a specific spot to "take a picture" and as we have two people taking a photo (and little did I know - a video) of us, he got down on one knee and proposed. I was absolutely stunned. The video of the proposal is on my Instagram!

What was your goal for your wedding/what was the most important aspect to you?

Honestly - everything. I hired an Italian wedding planner but did most of the work myself. We ended up having 85 guests travel to Italy for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier! So, it was important that our guests were entertained throughout the 3 day weekend. The first "welcome dinner" night, we hosted in a restaurant underneath lemon groves, then came the wedding day at a beautiful villa overlooking the ocean and Naples, finally came the "farewell brunch" where we rented a beach club in Nerano where people relaxed and swam in the ocean. Food, entertainment and decor were our 3 most important factors!

How did you choose Le Rose for your wedding robes?

I did so much research. I wanted robes that the bridesmaids would wear again so they had to be of premium quality. Then, the lace detail was the right amount of feminine and delicate without being overly girly. The colour of the robes was spot on as well, to match my champagne dress. In terms of the long robe that I wore, I was looking for a maxi style for a while and after scouring Pinterest and some recommended sites, simply put Le Rose was the right style for me.

What did you like the most about your Le Rose robes?

I love that they are delicate and ethereal. And of course, that we can all wear them again because of the quality.

Were there funny moments from the day?

Nothing comes to mind immediately with this question. Of course, my grandma caught the bouquet so that was entertaining!

What was your favourite moment while getting ready in your Le Rose robes?

Just being with the girls and having a fun photo shoot together. It meant so much to be surrounded by my closest and dearest friends.

What wisdom or advice can you share to other Le Rose Brides?

On your big day, let go and have fun!
