The Perfect Intimates For Your Wedding Day!

We recently had the pleasure to chat to Australian model Natalie Roser on the launch of her label Rose and Bare. The lingerie label is focused on providing women with comfortable yet sexy nude tones. Read on to find out more about Rose and Bare and why the intimates would be perfect to wear on your wedding day!

Q: What inspired you to launch the brand Rose and Bare?

A: Rose and Bare was born out of necessity. As a model, I am constantly requested to wear nude underwear for photoshoots. Over the years I became more and more agitated that I couldn’t find a set of underwear that even came close to my skin colour. It was this agitation that made me realise that I was far from the only one with this problem and saw an opportunity to rectify that. So I created a line of underwear based on the necessities of your everyday outfits and the necessities for more ‘nude’ options in women’s lingerie.

Q: The Rose and Bare launch party was sleepover goals! Can you tell us about the Rose and Bare launch party and what it meant to you?

A: I decided to hold my launch event for Rose and Bare in Sydney because I really wanted to highlight that Rose and Bare is an Australian company. It was created primarily for the women of Australia. It is so crazy that such a multicultural country doesn’t have an array of existing products that cater to all the amazing ethnicities that make Australia what it is. So I really wanted to showcase just how many different skin tones there are, even just in the entertainment industry, by sharing the colour matches Rose and Bare provided to the women who attended my event.

I also grew up just near Sydney and it’s a city full of amazing friends of mine who have always been so supportive of my journey in creating the brand. So it was nice to spend the night with them, reflecting on how far the brand has come already.

Q: What are you hoping to offer women with the Rose and Bare collection?

A: I want to provide women with an option. An option to become aware that your ‘nude’ isn’t actually serving its purpose and to provide a better match. Plus, an option for comfort without compromising the feeling of sensuality that underwear can give its wearer.

Q: Why would Rose and Bare be the perfect intimates for Brides and Bridesmaids to wear under their gorgeous gowns on the wedding day?

A: We specialise in underwear that is made to look and feel invisible. Nothing worse than wearing a beautiful dress and feeling uncomfortable with your underwear! Our little G’s work perfectly under soft, falling fabrics as well as fitted styles. Plus, the perfect nude means nothing is visible through your whites!

Q: What is your go-to nude tone from the collection?

A: My Go-to is the #3 tone! It's a rich warm tan, which is perfect for my skin, especially in summer.

Q: You are tremendously busy, how do you juggle your modelling commitments with being a business owner and everything in between? Can you share your top tips for finding balance?

A: I am very busy! I guess I just get through it all by taking it all piece by piece. I

love using lists to calm my mind and motivate me to tick through things. This helps me not get overwhelmed. I also like to make sure that when I’m switched off, I’m actually offline. Giving myself that break to spend with friends and family is really amazing and helps reset my motivation for when I am working on whatever it is I have to get through.

Q: What can we see next from Rose and Bare?

A: The immediate goal is to expand our size range! We want to cater for as many women as possible and we can’t wait to be able to offer a wider variety of sizes!
