Le Rose Bride - Sarah

What is your name?

Sarah Glass

Wedding date & location?

We got married on September 21, 2019 in Highlands, North Carolina on a beautiful private estate vineyard in the mountains.

How did he propose?

My now husband, Nich, proposed while we were having a “date night” in downtown Charlotte, NC. After dinner & a show we were walking this little garden park in the city when he totally surprised me by getting down on one knee!

What was your goal for your wedding / what was the most important aspect to you?

Our main focus for our wedding was to have a relaxing atmosphere. We wanted a small intimate wedding, surrounded by only our closest friends & family. It was important to us that our guests felt comfortable & like they were really a part of our special day. From the social hour to the reception we wanted them to be treated like royalty as well.

How did you choose Le Rose Robes for your wedding?

I stumbled upon your online store while doing a search for “getting ready” attire. I knew I wanted a unique robe, different from my girl’s. I had this vision of what I was looking for and Le Rose made it a reality.

What did you like most about your Le Rose Robe?

Besides the beautiful, feminine look of the robe, it was super soft & comfortable! I almost didn’t want to take it off!

Were there any funny moments from the day?

During the reception it was so fun to see our guests out on the dance floor. Some people who I never thought would get up and let loose, did! We laughed & danced the night away!

What was your favorite moment while getting ready in your Le Rose robes?

I believe my favorite part was when I was getting my hair done. The room had suddenly become so quiet & peaceful, and it was a time I just got to sit down & really soak up the moment.

What wisdom or advice can you share to other Le Rose Brides?

Don’t stress over the small stuff (or really anything!). It’s just not worth it. Everything will come together regardless if it’s how you exactly planned it or not. For me, I’m a total control freak and I like doing things myself. So something I had to learn that weekend was to trust other’s abilities and let them take charge & handle it. You can’t do everything yourself! It’ll drive you crazy.

Also, if you’re going to splurge on one thing, make sure it’s your photographer! That will be the best money you’ll ever spend… You won’t remember everything from that day, but the pictures will tell the story for you.
