Courtney Townsend

28.9.2019.
Ceremony: Circa 1876 Hunter Valley.
Reception: The Convent, Hunter Valley.
How did he propose?
When: July 3rd 2017
Where: South Coast
How: Jordan pulled off the biggest surprise of my life as he set up a “weekend away with friends down the south coast at my family holiday house”. It started off with two friends picking us up and driving us down followed by a picnic at the kings point wharf near Ulladulla which firstly confused me as I was adamant that we should have gone to the house first. But anyway, I went along with it and we waited for another couple to arrive. As they arrived, a boxer that looked a lot like our dog Max jumped out of the car and began to run over to us. Max was wearing a big red bow tie with a note rolled up that said “will you marry me”. I died, cried and couldn’t believe what was going on. Mean while everyone around me knew exactly what was going on the entire time and our friend Michelle got photos of the entire thing happening without me noticing a single thing!
What was your goal for your wedding/ what was the most important aspect to you?
The goal of our wedding day was for it to be exactly what we wanted it to be, we had a 2 year engagement which gave us a lot of time to really figure out what we wanted, especially when it came to the vendors. It was important that we could have all of our family and friends on a weekend away with us and the Hunter Valley was the perfect location. We managed to find a venue that we could stay at with our family and bridal party, so that we could get ready on site, have the ceremony and the reception all on the same property to cut out travel between venues. It worked out perfectly!
How did you choose Le Rose for your wedding?
I chose Le Rose for my wedding to have my bridesmaids and myself in personalized sleep shirts which we got ready in together and they were sooooo comfortable!
What did you like the most about your Le Rose pyjamas?
From the ease of the ordering to the cute packaging it arrived in, everything about the pyjamas were great! They were true to size, comfortable and such good quality. My bridesmaids and I basically live in them now, such a good ‘getting ready’ outfit.
What was your favourite moment while getting ready in your Le Rose Pyjamas?
The feeling I got when I was watching all the bridesmaids, mum and mother in law all getting ready with hair and makeup was really surreal, to think that was my wedding day and all of these people were together to celebrate us was incredible!
What wisdom or advice can you share to other Le Rose Brides?
Do what you want its your day and don’t forget to take a moment with your now husband and soak it all in, the time flies!
