Le Rose Bride - Laura

What is your name?

Laura Seddon (now Laura de Closey)

Wedding date and location?

Gabbinbar Homestead, Toowoomba. Friday 9th August 2019

How did he propose?

Matt emailed me at work and suggested we do date night that evening, I agreed and didn’t think too much of it. We got take away sushi from our favourite place, and had a picnic at Kangaroo Point cliffs (where we had our first kiss on our first date), and Matt got down on one knee, in front of the beautiful Brisbane city lit up at night, and asked me to marry him. I was incredibly shocked and said “Oh my god” for about 5 minutes before responding "yes!"

What was your goal for your wedding / what was the most important aspect to you?

Our goal was to really just enjoy the day with our closest friends and family. We wanted the day to be romantic, fun, and to create lasting memories. Everything went so well on our wedding day, and we were so happy with our suppliers. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding!

How did you choose Le Rose for your wedding PJs?

I was researching PJ's for the bridal party and myself, and nothing compared to the Le Rose PJ's, the colour and quality are amazing. I wanted the long PJ set as we were having a winter wedding and Toowoomba is pretty cold. I will definitely be ordering more Pj's from Le Rose in the future.

What did you like the most about your Le Rose PJs?

We all loved the material of the Charlotte PJ's and just how comfortable they are, we didn't want to take them off. We also loved the colour, and the initials was a really great personal touch.

Were there funny moments from the day?

There were a few moments throughout the day. One of them was hearing and witnessing the horror of my wedding guests when I was trying to eat a taco in my wedding dress.

What was your favourite moment while getting ready in your Le Rose garments?

Just seeing how beautiful everyone looked in the Pj's and seeing how much they loved them.

What wisdom or advice can you share to other Le Rose Brides?

Just focus on enjoying yourself on your wedding day and taking in all the special moments, you've worked so hard on your wedding day, so don't spend it stressing on small details. Also, you don't have to follow wedding traditions, do whatever makes you happy.
